Upcycled Wonders began when I, Maya Anand, was five years old. It is an initiative where I take upcycled materials and turn broken things into art. Over the years, through my mental health struggles, I saw myself in the broken materials. Soon, Upcycled Wonders became more than just a platform to make the world a better place. It became a physical representation that showed me that broken things have potential when I felt most broken. It wasn't just about the painting aspect-it was bringing trash into life. It brought me out of the darkest parts of my life and made me feel whole again. I hope with Upcycled Wonders to make the world a better place. One canvas, one tree, and one person at a time. People, like the things we throw away so easily, deserve the chance to feel whole again.

When someone chooses to bring a piece home, they aren’t just supporting Upcycled Wonders—they are helping a person feel like themself again and planting a tree that will outlive us. In a world that often discards and replaces, these small acts of intention remind us that beauty can be born from what was forgotten, and that impact can begin with a single choice. Your choice.

With Upcycled Wonders, my mission is to create a world where restoration is valued over replacement and where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged to heal. Through art made from reclaimed materials, I hope to spark conversations about sustainability, resilience, and mental wellbeing, while showing that transformation is possible in many forms. My goal is to use creativity as a tool for both environmental impact and personal empowerment, helping individuals recognize their worth and potential while contributing to a healthier planet.
